Kaishiki Natyavahini a dance institution was established in 1989 by Guru Dr. Mala Shashikanth. The paramount focus of Kaishiki Natyavahini has been promoting the Nanjangudu Parampare and Kolar Parampare dance forms which are the two sub styles of Karnataka’s Dance Traditions., inculcating the values of discipline, enriching the culture of dance and music , encouraging young artists , motivating the children to learn dance , bridging the gap between stories of great epics and dance, creating an environment of cultural richness.

To impart the rich heritage of Nanjangudu Parampare and Kolar Parampare of Karnataka’s Classical Dance dance forms to across the world.

Mission

Performing dance dramas…. thematic performances of Ramayana, Mahabharata , Puranas and propogating Karnataka’s Classical Dance Heritage .Conducting Research & revival of rare Nrutya bandhas through workshops, short term courses of Nanjungud & Kolar Parampare.

To encourage youngsters into understanding and expressing the Nrithyabandhas, Mudras and emotions in Bharathanatya.
