A centre for research and development of classical dance, yoga and music

Kaishiki Natyavahini a dance institution was established in 1989 by Guru Dr. Mala Shashikanth. The paramount focus of Kaishiki Natyavahini has been promoting the Nanjangudu Parampare and Kolar Parampare dance forms which are the two sub styles of Karnataka’s Dance Traditions, inculcating the values of discipline, enriching the culture of dance and music, encouraging young artists, motivating the children to learn dance, bridging the gap between stories of great epics and dance, creating an environment of cultural richness.

Studies at Natyavahini are rooted in Ashtanga with emphasis on Moral & Ethical living, leading to an integrated personality. The ultimate goal of Kaishiki Natyavahini is to help the students to carve a niche for themselves in the dance world.
